On Healers

 In Shemot 15:26 it says Ani Hashem Rof'echah - I am Hashem your healer.

In Shemot 21:19 it says Verapoh yerapeh - you must fully heal the person.

The Baal HaTurim notes that the first pasuk refers to G-d as healer and the second one is talking about man as healer. He says that G-d's healing is perfect but man's healing is imperfect. G-d's healing has a soft touch, while man's healing has rougher edges.

He explains that for this reason the first instance has a phei, soft, without a dot. And the second instance has a pei, hard, with a dot.
