Poetry Prompt - Taboo© Style

The Prompt:

Write a poem about lemons without using the following words: lemon, yellow, round, fruit, citrus, tart, juicy, peel, and sour.

My Result:

Thin skinned and fragrant
oval and quite acidic
semitropical
You are the anti orange
the other half of my lime

Thanks to Rabbi Dan Rosen for introducing me to tanka.

Can be -ade
Can be tea
Find it hanging on a tree

Might be juice
Might be pie
Just don't squirt it in your eye
