At first I wrote "life IS a haiku" then I changed it to "life AS a haiku," thinking it's a bit more original, less pedantic - like an outside observation about the scene that just took place.
Well, it would be two different meanings. In one you are imparting an observation about life. In another one, you position yourself as an observer of life. The first one makes me think about what are the rules and parameters of a haiku, and the ways in which life would reflect that. Is it an ideal, I wonder, or can it be done in a viable way? Life as a haiku is more complicated to understand. So life can be a haiku and doesn't have to be a haiku ... is it for us to determine what form it takes, or is it just a factor of life as it evolves?
