Back home from my city errands.  Ended off with a Trader Joe's run.  As I was walking out a young woman holding an amazingly cute baby (bli ayin harah) approached me with the question, "Rabbi Fleischmann?" I said yes. This was a student that graduated the high school I teach in (starting Year 17 next Thursday - bli ayin harah).  She took my public speaking eleventh grade elective in '04 and remembered it fondly. Her excellent informative speech was about how to make a banana split. I never know if I should mentions names.  It couldn't hurt, but I feel like being discreet.  Her approaching me made my day.  If you see a teacher you liked it's always good to say hi and let them know you liked there class.
