A Little Korach Thought

At the wedding of a talmid tonight I was at a (Monsey) rabbi table. Lots of Torah. One rebbe shared a beautiful thought relating to Parshat Korach: The root of the word for argument (machloket) is is part/piece (cheilek). The Rabbis say that a sincere argument will last. Why is it a good thing for an argument to last? The answer may be that there is truth to each side, that each side is a section of the whole puzzle and that's why if it's a holy argument it will endure - because you need both angles of the truth for it to be complete.
