K - I didn't go to Ellenville proper, the hotel had everything including shul/minyan. I didn't think of it. I'm guessing the shul would like having some fresh blood stop in.
Absolutely. It's pretty empty. I used to like the sense of history I got when I davened there. I recently heard, though, that the rabbi brought a yeshiva in, so maybe there's a bit more life there than in the past.
