TOTD

Your dog will never ask himself, "Could I have done better with someone else?" (From Going Bonkers? Magazine, March 1998, article by Bill Tarrant on page 54).

Wonderful quote. The quotes you include are reason enough to follow your blog. I'm still digesting one you wrote a while back - 'I am with book'. Or was it - 'I am with blog'. I keep pondering that one. I'm pretty sure you wrote 'I am with book' and I thought to myself, 'I am with blog'.

Thank you! The other quote was based on a CS Lewis line, and was book oriented but applies to a blog too (and the books within the blog). This quote struck me, dogs can be amazing in their love/loyalty.

The "with book" quote was here:

Here's a quote for today: Someone who says "I hate to say I told you so" probably loves to say "I told you so."

You took it as a reference to a dog's loyalty? I assumed it meant that an animal, being without understanding, will never question a choice. I thought it was a joke.

It was the heading of an article about the pluses of having a dog as a pet and I think was playing up what we experience as their love/affection/loyalty.
