Rabbi Pesach Oratz Z"TL

o
There are no words but inadequate ones, no measure to my indebtedness, no limit to my gratitude, no way to describe my loss. I merited to learn at the feet of this holy man, to receive advice from him, to chat with him, to observe him. I miss him so; though I saw him all too seldom, I depended on him. And now he has gone to his world.

I don't know who he was, but he seems kindly and I am sorry for your loss. It is clearly a deep one and in those cases, words fail us. But know that your readers care.

Tnank you Trudy. He passed away on the day before Rosh HaShanah - about eight months ago. Sorry, if I was unclear. I posted the picture because it came in the mail yesterday - as the camp he worked in for forty six (sic) summers is raising money - to refurbish and enhance their educational complex - in his name.

There seem to be no other pictures of him on line and I have none so I was happy to get this and post it. It stirred up memories. Loss is a funny (not ha ha) thing, like time itself it is always there, as long as we are alive.

I've cited him in the blog many times (this is not a simple case of exaulting someone out of the blue after they've passed):
