U'Bechol Zot Shimchah Lo Shachachnu

We mumble some words again and again
We ask for Gd's kind mercy without shame
We say that "through it all we've remembered Your name"
I wonder when this was true, if not now when?

QUESTIONS

"again and again" or "over and again?"

"We ask for" or "We request"

"Your name" or without quotes and His name? (Name?)

"I wonder when this was true?" or "I wonder if this was true?"

I think the "comfortable in galus thing" is a recurring pattern.

Huh? It's completely true right now! Look at how we live. Tefillah, Torah, tzedakah, mitzvos. It's all remembering and living His Name. I'm always proud when I read these words.

Re. the questions. Here's my suggestion:

We mumble the words again and again
We beg His kind mercy without shame
"Through it all we've remembered Your name," we protest
Was this ever true, I wonder
If if not now, then when?
