Interesting article - I like the contemporary take on the events in the Megilla and the discussion of choice. That line in the Megilla, when Mordichai tells Esther what will happen if she keeps silent, always gives me a little jolt.

Yes. I recall years ago, Rav Aharon Lichtenstein spoke about the maturation of Esther and that line providing her with a turning point. It is a powerful line - reminds me a bit of, "Even if yo are small n your own eyes, you are still the head of the tribes of Israel."
