I just don't always know what to look at what I should take in what I should not take in how to not take all things in how to be luggage free and sing.
I wish the world was such that people kept to the adage, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." That just seems like basic courtesy.
Anon: I said two nice things, so right off the bat you have no business accusing me of having nothing nice to say. And even the one slightly critical thing is nothing terrible, and certainly not meant unkindly. The poem hasn't been written that didn't need some editing.
At the risk of interrupting this wonderful dialogue I'd like to comment on "how to be luggage free and sing" It seems to me that one who is "luggage free" doesn't do much singing, because it's not reality in THIS world. It's all the luggage that makes life complicated yet so wonderful and interesting! wishing all a chag Purim Sameach and Shabbat Shalom!
I like your point rr. I guess the luggage can give song it's high and low notes and roundness of sound. Still . . . sometimes the luggage feels heavy to carry . . . like it did for me yesterday and today- making it hard at times to sing- but I'm optimistic at heart and tomorrow is another today, please G-d, another day to sing.
Btw, did you- anyone- ever get taken by what the word verification scrambled letters sometimes says?
What came up for me now is tuydy, (which I read as today)! It almost makes me feel like singing!
I enjoyed your response Maayan. "sometimes the luggage feels heavy to carry." The airlines would agree with you there! I hate the new luggage restrictions (50 pounds per bag.) I find that by the time I have packed all of the gifts for my relatives overseas there is no room left for anything else. As far as "like it did for me yesterday and today- making it hard at times to sing- but I'm optimistic at heart and tomorrow is another today, please G-d, another day to sing"
I hope that today is the tomorrow that you spoke of and that it is filled with song.
My point, though, was that we worry about "luggage too much." Everyone thinks that their luggage is too much to handle, but if we acknowledge that everyone has luggage, I believe that we can have luggage and still sing with a full heart because HKBH only gives us luggage that we can handle! Shavuah Tov to all!
interesting comment on word verification. mine presently is gnwtc starting from the left I see good night world. starting from the right I see col tuv.

Cool! Love the play on words and the 1(syllable) to 8 configuration.

Good idea. Nice poem. Needs editing.

I think saying words that reflect and are in consonance with one's intention is key.
I don't know what you're driving at. I think using words that clearly express your meaning is key.
