Rhymes With Mushroom, Noodle


You don't
often see
people carrying sun umbrellas,
but I saw several of them
at and around The Kotel,
partcularly on Bar Mitzvah days.

Hey, it can get pretty hot & dry around the Kotel in these days of 35-degree heat! [that's into the 90s for you Fahrenheit people]!

The Hebrew word for umbrella rhymes with the Hebrew words for mushroom and noodle.

ohhh...i got it..itriyah=noodle,pitriyah=mushroom,and mitriyah=umbrella.
how would we have ever realized that brilliance w/out yitz's question? so...does this mean that i get no credit for yankee doodle? after all, macaroni which is part of the yankee doodle "rhyme" is a noodle. tell me that you had all of that in mind when you posted and i'll eat me broom/i mean pasta =)
