"I'm Here To Be Validated"

you've acquired something something for yourself."

Two weeks ago I posted about a short film about validation. How does one get validated? Do you think people tend to look for validation from the people they are least likely to get it from? Have you ever done that? Why is that a person can get validation from myriad people and focus on the few that border on being impossible providers? What does the Torah say about validation? What does it mean to have a good reputation? Is it something to strive for? How is this the same and how is it different from seeking validation?
